All travelers to Australia, other than Australian and New Zealand citizens, are required to hold a valid visa to travel to Australia.

An eVisitor is available for free for people from the following countries;
Andorra Austria Belgium Bulgaria Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Estonia Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Iceland Ireland Italy Latvia Liechtenstein Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Monaco The Netherlands Norway Poland Portugal Romania Republic of San Marino Slovak Republic Slovenia Spain Sweden Switzerland United Kingdom - British Citizen and Vatican City.

Travelers holding the following passports may apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) through the ETA site. There is a "service" charge of A$20.

Brunei, Canada, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Malaysia Singapore South Korea and United States Of America.

Working Holiday Visa

If you are aged between 18 and 30 you may be eligible for a working holiday visa.
The visa allows a stay of up to 12 months from the date of first entry to Australia, regardless of whether or not you spend the whole time in Australia.

You are allowed to do any kind of work of a temporary or casual nature, but work for more than three months with any one employer is not permitted.

Working holiday makers must hold a passport of a country which has a reciprocal arrangement with Australia. Currently, these countries are:
